Quick Guide for mLogcat 1.0.0.0 (1/3)

 

Attaching/Detaching devices

1. mLogcat launches adb.exe if it can’t communicate with adbd.

2. When a device is attached, it is automatically displayed in the [Devices] of the [Device List].   

 

 

 

3. The [Close] menu is enabled only after a device is disconnected. (obsolete in the version 1.2.0.0)

 

 

[Item View]

All messages are displayed in the [Item View] window.

 

[Message View], [Logcat View] and [Kernel View]

1. Select a device in the [Devices] of the [Device List]. - Click the right button. - Select the [Logcat] or [Kernel] menu.

 

2. These are predefined filtered. And logcat and kernel messages are displayed, respectively,

   in the [Logcat View] and [Kernel View] window as following figures show.

 

 

[Message View] : logcat + kernel messages.

 

[Bookmark View]

1. Select a device in the [Devices] of the [Device List]. - Click the right button.

   - Select the [Bookmark] menu.

 

 

2. When selected items are added to the bookmark(Shift+F8), these are display in the [Bookmark View] window.
