Auto-scrolling

 Mouse left click: disable auto-scroll.

 Mouse wheel click : enable auto-scroll.

 

 

Logcat messages(Main, System, Event and Radio) and Kernel messages.

  You can turn on/off the logcat messages as the following figure shows.

 

 

If you turn on the Kernel message, then adbd runs as root, that is, mLogcat sends “adb root” command to adbd.

 

 

By default, Main, Event and Radio are enabled.

You can change these in the [Home]-[Options]-[Settings] menu as the following figure shows.

 

 

 

Filtering

1. Click the right button in the list control - Select the [Refilter] menu.    

 

 

2. Please, type in the following fields.

 

mLogcat recognizes a space as a character, that is, RILJ|AT != RILJ (space)|AT. (It's obsolete in the version 1.2.2.0)

 

3. Filtered messages are displayed in the [Refilter View] window.

 

 

 

Finding Text

  1. Select the[Find Item] menu or press “Ctrl + F” in the list control.

 

 

 

 2. Type a search string in the [Find what] field.

[Find Backward] and [Find Forward] menu search backward and forward, respectively,

for the pattern previously searched for.

 

 3. In order to create the [Refilter View] window, check the [Refilter (Refilter View)].

 

 

And then acts as a [Refilter View].

 

Copying to the clipboard

1. Select items to copy to the clipboard ? Press “Ctrl + C” key.

 

 

Sync all message views

 The [Sync] menu synchronizes all message views to the closest to a selected item.

This feature is very useful for you.
